S. Toraighyrov PSU and Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation concluded a cooperation agreement.

Rector of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Serik Omirbayev visited Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow, Russia) within the framework of the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference on Harmonization of Educational and Research Activities as a Direction of the Strategic Development of Universities and meeting of the education association of Russian universities devoted to education in the field of finance, accounting and global economy.

S.M. Omirbayev made a report on the Trends of the Bologna Process in the System of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the plenary session of the Conference, and participated in the round-table conference on Postgraduate Programs: Levels of Integration of Science and Education.

The Action Plan for the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between S. Toraighyrov PSU and Financial University was signed in the great hall of the University. It was signed by rectors of the two universities, S.M. Omirbayev and M.A. Eskindarov.

The Agreement provides for development and implementation of joint Master's degree programs in Economics and Finance, exchange of teaching staff members for delivering lectures, scientific internships for Master's degree students, joint performance of research projects funded by the Governments of Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as joint participation of Financial University and S. Toraighyrov PSU in international research competitions and projects.
