Director of the Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Sergey Smailov took part in the international school-conference entitled “Innovations Territory. Best Practices of Technology Transfer Centers”.

The Conference was held at Tomsk State University (Tomsk, the RF).

The following reports were made during the event: “Organization of Innovation Steams” and “International Component of Technology Transfer”; there were round-table conferences on “Marketing of Scientific and Technical Developments: Instruments, Peculiarities and Opportunities”, “Expansion into Foreign Markets. BBC Research Elsevier Instruments”, “Exhibition Activity, Presentation of Developments, Products and Projects”, and “the Effectiveness of Technology Transfer Networks. Networks in Russia and the CIS”.

Sergey Smailov had a tour of the University and visited the Faculty of Innovative Research, business incubator, and laboratory for catalytic studies.

As a result of the Conference, the following universities made a decision on concluding a Memorandum of Cooperation with S. Toraighyrov PSU in the field of innovation and technology transfer: Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (K.E. Son, a Candidate of Physico-mathematical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow, Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Mechanics, Project Manager in Technology Transfer), Executive Directorate of the Novosibirsk Science and Technology Park (B. Yu. Grishnyakov, a Candidate of Physico-mathematical Sciences, Director), and Law Society named after A. Nevskiy in Moscow (N.M. Zaychenko, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Head of the Section of Innovative Business Projects Support).
