A solemn festive event dedicated to May 7th — Defender of the Fatherland Day and May 9th — Victory Day was organized at a high level at Toraighyrov University. The university leadership, faculty, staff, and students took part in the meaningful evening, emphasizing the profound significance of these dates in the history of the country.

The ceremony dedicated to Victory Day began with a minute of silence to honor the memory of the heroic ancestors who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland during the grueling years of war. This served as a clear tribute to the heroes who showed exceptional bravery on the battlefield.

During the event, the "Murager" student theater presented a moving stage performance depicting the difficult periods of the war, the hardships faced by the nation, and the selfless courage of the frontline soldiers. Additionally, patriotic songs born during those harsh years were performed, allowing the audience to feel the enduring spirit of history.

Nurlan Amirovich Medetov, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Toraighyrov University, delivered a welcoming speech, highlighting the place of these holidays in the nation's history. He noted: "Defender of the Fatherland Day is a symbol of respect for the citizens who protect the security and independence of our state. Victory Day is an essential day that reminds us of the peaceful life we enjoy thanks to the courage and perseverance shown during one of the most difficult periods in human history."

Furthermore, the women of the university staff presented a festive concert program prepared specifically for Defender of the Fatherland Day. Elegant melodies, a festive atmosphere, and heartfelt performances were met with great appreciation by the audience, adding a special charm to the celebratory evening.
