A preventive meeting titled "The Student and the Law: Rights and Responsibility" was held recently. Organized under the "Law and Order" framework, the event aimed to increase the legal literacy of university students. Approximately 70 students attended the session, gaining vital information on various legal issues of concern.
 
 
The lineup of specially invited speakers featured distinguished experts, including: Rizat Rakhimzhanov – Member of the Council for the Prevention of Drug Offenses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Director of the Youth Initiatives Development Center; Irina Timirgalieva – Senior Detective for Especially Important Cases of the Department for Combating Drug Crime (DP) of the Pavlodar Region, Police Lieutenant Colonel; and Rakhat Toktar – Senior Investigator of the Cybercrime Investigation Unit of the Pavlodar City Police Department, Police Senior Lieutenant.
 
 
In their presentations, the speakers focused extensively on drug abuse prevention, internet fraud, cybercrime, and legal liability. These subjects, which are highly relevant in modern society, sparked significant interest among the students and encouraged deep reflection.
 
 
During the meeting, students engaged in case-study discussions, analyzing various real-life scenarios and exploring legal solutions. This methodology helped develop their critical thinking skills and taught them how to make informed decisions in specific situations. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to ask the speakers questions and receive professional, direct answers.
