On the eve of International Women’s Day, a meeting was held at Toraighyrov University between Rector Nurlan Medetov and female employees of the university who are mothers with many children. The event took place in an informal atmosphere over a cup of tea.

It is noteworthy that around 40 employees in our team successfully combine work and motherhood while raising four or more children.

Rector of ToU Nurlan Medetov congratulated the beautiful half of humanity on the upcoming holiday and highlighted the important role of women in the development of society, science, and education. He emphasized that women’s contributions are especially significant for the development of the country’s human capital, strengthening the economy, and shaping future generations.

During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the development of the higher education and science system in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as global trends.

In recognition of their contribution to the development of the university and the upbringing of the younger generation, mothers with many children were awarded letters of appreciation.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, becoming a symbol of respect and recognition of the important role of women in the life of the university.
