A delegation from Toraighyrov University visited the facilities of Neftekhim LTD Company.

One of Kazakhstan’s largest petrochemical enterprises was visited by the University Rector Nurlan Medetov and the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Madeniyet Yelubay. As part of the celebrations marking the 65th anniversary of Toraighyrov University, letters of appreciation were presented to the company’s Executive Director Lyazzat Idrissova and the Head of the Training Center Raisa Kozhanova.

During the meeting, the parties discussed joint student training at the plant, as well as opportunities for education through micro-qualifications in the working profession of chemical analysis laboratory technician. They also considered areas for professional development of the company’s employees and the organization of off-site lectures involving the enterprise’s engineers. In turn, the plant’s management shared plans to equip a dedicated training classroom for the University at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies.
