The dialogue platform, which will run for five days, is dedicated to environmental issues and their possible solutions.

The summer school was organized for students and faculty studying various aspects of the environment and its impact. The participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the university, Renat Nurgozhin. Presentations were also made by Bibigul Akshulakova, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, Madeniet Elubai, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and Ainagul Kaliyeva, Head of the Department of Biology and Ecology.

On the opening day of the summer school, Professor Miroslav Kravka from the Czech University of Life Sciences addressed the audience. His lectures focused on global environmental issues and individual environmental responsibility.

Throughout the week, the platform will discuss additional topics, including waste-to-energy, industrial ecology, natural resources, and climate change. Among the lecturers are Professor Alperen Tozlu from Turkey, Head of Department Vladimir Shtepa from Belarusian State Technical University, Deputy Head of the German Embassy Mission in Kazakhstan Ulrich Kinne, João Nascimento from PromAnalyt LLP, and Professor Tunzala Babayeva from Sumgayit State University in Azerbaijan. The summer school participants include not only students from Pavlodar but also students from universities in Astana, Kokshetau, and Kostanay.
