Students from groups ZHE-201 and TE-202 of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering branch participated in the session.

The off-site session was conducted with the participation of Professor Amangeldy Karmanov, Head of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering, Professor Alperen Tozlu from Turkey, Professor Ultuar Zhalmagambetova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Energy for Research, and Bibigul Akshulakova, Director of the Center for International Cooperation at ToU. The event utilized VR glasses and simulators. Second-year students actively participated in training on the operation and welding of thermal power equipment.

Professor Alperen Tozlu highly appreciated the practical level of the training equipment at the Aksu Thermal Power Plant, which is part of ERG. It provides students with the opportunity to master the discipline without leaving the production environment. Cooperation between Toraighyrov University and ERG will continue to expand, as ERG’s energy division includes five enterprises that are constantly in need of qualified specialists. As Professor Amangeldy Karmanov noted, it is the department that addresses the task of preparing personnel necessary for the successful development of the energy sector.
