A meeting between students and cadets with representatives of the police department was held in the assembly hall of Toraygirov University.

The participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law at ToU, Yuriy Kolesnikov, and the Deputy Head of the Pavlodar Regional Police Department, Safuan Zhampeysov. Following them, the audience heard from Berik Oralov, Head of the Investigation Department; Renat Akhmetzyanov, Head of the Cybercrime Investigation Unit; Senior Operative Officer Suindyk Kayyrbaev, responsible for high-priority cases in the Cybercrime Prevention Department; and Rustam Kizatov, Deputy Head of the Northern Police Department of Pavlodar.

The guests explained to students and cadets how Kazakhstan’s criminal legislation has been optimized and what changes were made to five codes and ten laws. Special attention was given to new provisions in the Criminal Code, such as dropperism, stalking, and coercion into marriage. In addition, the attendees were informed about opportunities to join the police service.
