A meeting with representatives of the Regional Department of Public Service was held at Toraygirov University.

Students from the faculties of Economics and Law, Computer Science, and Agricultural Sciences attended the meeting. During the event, department representatives explained in detail how the process of entering the public service works. The head of the department, Askhat Iskendirov, spoke about available vacancies and career growth prospects. Students also learned about the “Young Public Servant School” project, which trains senior students in the fundamentals of the profession.

Currently, around 100 vacancies are open for young specialists in the Pavlodar region across various institutions. Toraygirov University graduates have access to two selection procedures for public service positions: the competitive route (including testing, assessment of personal qualities, and interviews) and the non-competitive route for students with high GPAs.

Among Toraygirov University students, some have already successfully entered public service. Alisher Rashit was selected through the competitive process, while Tokhtar Bektasov was admitted via the non-competitive route thanks to his high GPA. Both participated in the meeting as examples for current students, demonstrating real opportunities for building a career in the public sector.
