On the eve of Constitution Day, Toraighyrov University held a ceremonial event titled “Мәңгілік жаса, қыран елім!” (“Long Live, My Eagle Country!”).
The celebration began with the raising of the State Flag and the performance of the National Anthem. Participants were then reminded of the key stages of constitutional reforms over the past 30 years. Yuri Kolesnikov, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law, emphasized that today the country’s Fundamental Law, which enshrines universally recognized human values, provides maximum protection of the rights and freedoms of Kazakhstani citizens.
Congratulating colleagues on the upcoming holiday, Toraighyrov University’s Rector Nurlan Medetov highlighted the role of the university in shaping public consciousness and training young patriotic professionals. The Chairman of the Board acknowledged all scholars who received grant funding for their research projects, defended their dissertations, and were awarded academic titles of Professor and Associate Professor.
“As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev says, law and order must always prevail in our society,” said Nurlan Medetov. “This principle should guide us both in our personal lives and in our work. In doing so, we will ensure the continued development of our country.”
In honor of Constitution Day, 35 ToU employees received various awards, including special distinction badges, Certificates of Honor, and Letters of Appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Pavlodar Regional Akimat, and Toraighyrov University.
