In the Moiyldy tract, residents and guests of the Bayanaul district celebrated the 190th anniversary of akyn Zhayau Musa, the 125th anniversary of journalist Kadir Taishyikov, the 100th anniversary of writer Kalmukan Isabay, and the well-known film figure Kuat Abuseitov.

In honor of these great sons of the Kazakh people, a real yurt town was set up near Bayanaul. Guests from all over Kazakhstan were welcomed in more than 100 yurts. Two of them were installed on the ethnovillage territory by Toraighyrov University staff. One of these yurts featured a special exhibition dedicated to the anniversaries.

The celebration program included sports competitions in traditional Kazakh games — kokpar and baige. In addition, several dozen artisans from the Pavlodar region presented their applied arts exhibits.

On the main stage of the yurt town, a festive concert took place. Eight aytiskers competed in a “battle of three eras.” Afterwards, the group “MuzArt” performed their hits for the audience. The event in the Moiyldy tract became a vivid example of how Kazakhstan honors and promotes its rich cultural heritage.
