Emergency response drills were held at Toraighyrov University as part of the nationwide command-and-staff exercise “Qorgau 2025”.

The main building of the university is designated as an evacuation assembly point in the event of large-scale emergencies. On August 7, local executive authorities and civil protection services conducted practical drills at the university, rehearsing coordinated response procedures.

The exercise included simulated population registration, medical screening, distribution of personal protective equipment, and organized boarding of evacuees onto buses for transportation to temporary accommodation facilities.

Such drills are conducted to ensure effective coordination among all emergency services, identify potential gaps in logistics and communication, and enhance overall preparedness. They also help familiarize the population with emergency response procedures and promote appropriate behavior in crisis situations.
