Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan announced the results of the grant competition for scientific and scientific-technical projects for the next three years. Among the winners are eight projects by Toraighyrov University researchers.
The total amount of grant funding for ToU scientific projects for 2025–2027 exceeds 880.5 million tenge. Congratulations to the researchers and we wish them fruitful work within the framework of their projects!

- Professor of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering Baurzhan Mashrapov – “Prevention and Localization of Potential Accidents at Kazakhstan’s Nuclear Power Plant Due to Unaccounted Failures in the Electrical Circuit”;
- Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies Sofya Masakbayeva – “Chemical-Technological Aspects of Creating Composites through Thermoplastic Processing of Polymer Waste”;
- Professor of the Department of Zootechnics and Veterinary Medicine Tolegen Asanbayev – “Study of the Genetic Diversity of Four Ecotypes of the Kazakh Indigenous Horse Breed Using Whole-Genome Sequencing”;
- Associate Professor Bulat Zhumadilov – “Development of an Intelligent System for Monitoring Wheat Agrocenosis through Synergistic Integration of Hyperspectral Imaging and LiDAR Using Computer Vision Technologies.”
