A student of Toraighyrov University was offered a job after participating in ERG Skills PVL.

The day before, the third stage of the annual professional skills competition ERG Skills PVL-2025, held according to WorldSkills standards, took place at the Communal State Enterprise under the Right of Economic Management “Aksu College of Ferrous Metallurgy”. The event featured young employees of Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), as well as students from universities and colleges that are part of the College–ERG Alliance.

The main idea of the competition is to raise the prestige of skilled trades among youth, which is especially relevant within the framework of the Year of Skilled Professions, as declared by the Head of State.

Students of ToU participated in two professional competencies: in Turning – Alexey Egorov, Mechanical Engineering and Reverse Engineering, with expert Ruslan Kusainov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization; in Locksmithing – Mikhail Plesovskikh, Mechanical Engineering and Reverse Engineering, with expert Andrey Tkachuk, Head of Laboratories of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization.

As a result of the competition, Mikhail Plesovskikh took third place in the Locksmithing competency.

Additionally, representatives of Eurasian Resources Group presented Alexey and Mikhail with job offers at the enterprises of JSC TNK Kazchrome and JSC EEC.
