Toraighyrov University hosted the international scientific and practical conference “Sustainable Development in Contemporary Research”, organized within the framework of the state-funded research project AP19676924, “Development of Technology and Promotion of Ecological Branding for the Regional Industrial Complex.”
The meeting was moderated by PhD in Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Economics Alexey Titkov, and PhD in Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics Lyudmila Davidenko.











The Dean of the Faculty, Yuriy Kolesnikov, emphasized the relevance of sustainable development as one of the priorities of the modern scientific and educational agenda, and highlighted the need to integrate scientific approaches and interdisciplinary collaboration to address environmental and economic challenges.
During the conference, sectional sessions were held in three areas: “Sustainability in Contemporary Scientific and Practical Research,” “Ecological Branding of National Economy Sectors,” and “Resources, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Use.”
The conference participants represented various regions of Kazakhstan, including Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, and Oral.
Additionally, the conference featured results of joint research conducted with the participation of the Omsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Scientific insights were also shared by representatives of the Siberian University of Consumer Cooperation (Novosibirsk) and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow).
