A meeting of youth with the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Abdirov took place at Toraighyrov University. The event was held as part of explanatory work on issues of political modernization of the country.

Speaking to the youth, Nurlan Abdirov spoke about the progress of the transformation of the electoral system of Kazakhstan. He emphasized that the reform of the CEC is being carried out as part of a broad political transformation initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Today, the CEC is becoming more open, transparent and voter-oriented. These changes are aimed at strengthening citizens' trust in elections as the main mechanism of people's power," said Nurlan Abdirov.
The CEC Chairman emphasized the importance of direct communication with young people: such meetings allow not only to convey information about reforms first-hand, but also to hear the opinions of young citizens and understand what issues concern them locally.
During the event, participants asked questions about the upcoming elections, the role of young people in political processes, and the prospects for the development of the electoral system. The communication took place in a lively, open format, which once again confirmed the importance of dialogue between the authorities and society.
