The Erasmus+ information day, organized with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held at Toraighyrov University.
The information session was conducted by the coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office, Laura Paluanova.
The meeting discussed the prospects and opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ programs: Capacity Building in Higher Education, Jean Monnet, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters.
As part of the information session, practical recommendations were presented for regional universities that are planning to participate in Erasmus+ program competitions for the first time. Laura Paluanova spoke about the key stages of preparing a project application, the specifics of choosing partners, and the criteria for successful projects. In addition, the coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office in Kazakhstan drew attention to the successful experience of Toraighyrov University in developing and implementing educational projects within the Erasmus+ program, noting the high level of project management and active international cooperation of the university.
Associate Professor of the Department of Agricultural Technology, participant of the educational project AgroKAZ, Viktor Kamkin, spoke at the information session.
The AgroKAZ project is actively implemented with the support of Erasmus+ and includes cooperation with foreign partners. The project is aimed at developing and implementing a sustainable dual bachelor's degree program in agroecology at three universities in Kazakhstan, as well as creating lifelong courses for professionals.
