The festive celebrations in honor of the 135th anniversary of Zhussupbek Aimautov, the 125th anniversary of Kanysh Satpayev, the 120th anniversary of Alkey Margulan and the 110th anniversary of Shaken Aimanov were held in the Moiyldy tract of Bayanaul district.

The Scientific and Practical Center of History and Ethnography named after E. Bekmakhanov of Toraighyrov University presented the book "Darkhan Daryn" about academician Alkey Margulan. The result of the collective work of Kazakhstani scientists was the collection "Zhusipbek Aimauytuly."

The participants were congratulated by the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Koshanov, who conveyed the wishes of the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

"Kanysh Satpayev is the progenitor of modern Kazakh science.  He founded the National Academy of Sciences, trained a whole generation of qualified scientists, and formed a new research system. Therefore, the Day of Science Workers in our country is timed to coincide with his birthday. One of the most outstanding people of our nation discovered many deposits that played a key role in the development of domestic production. Our country still enjoys the fruits of his labor. Satpayev's legacy is a unique treasury of our nation. Popularization of his works is our common duty. I am confident that the path laid by Kanysh Satpayev will find its continuation in modern Kazakhstani science," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wrote in his congratulatory address.

- Celebrating Satpayev's anniversary is not just a tribute to the memory of the great scientist, it is a tribute to the history of our country and its outstanding sons.  It is gratifying that in addition to the first Kazakh academician, Bayanaul also remembers other outstanding natives of  Pavlodar region - Zhusipbek Aymautov, Alkey Margulan and Shaken Aimanov. Such events help us preserve the cultural heritage, instill in the younger generation a sense of patriotism and pride in their homeland, - noted the rector of the university Yerkin Sadykov.

It is worth noting that a yurt town was spread out in the steppe, and the best artists of the country performed on stage in front of thousands of spectators. In addition to the concert, guests could visit an exhibition of artisans, aitys of akyns, kokpar, and baiga.
