A guest lecture was held at Toraighyrov University by Mereke Abdrakhmanov, the head of the prevention department at the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption in the Pavlodar region. The lecture was part of the implementation of the action plan developed by the university's compliance service in collaboration with Anticor.

 

The topic of the guest lecture was the concept and general characteristics of corruption: responsibility for corrupt offenses and crimes. Students were introduced to the concept of corruption, its characteristic features, types, as well as the areas most susceptible to bribery. Additionally, the audience was informed about the types of penalties for corrupt offenses. At the end of the event, there was an exchange of opinions, and students asked questions with great interest.
