Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Kazakhstan Monika Iversen visited Toraighyrov University for a working visit. She toured the university's internship base at the Promanalt LLP site.

Toraighyrov University actively collaborates with universities and educational centers in Germany in a variety of areas, including research, student exchange, and faculty internships. The university's main partner in Germany is the University of Applied Sciences of Anhalt.

For three years, Toraighyrov University and the University of Anhalt have been engaged in mutual exchanges of faculty to deliver lectures at each other's universities and to provide language and cultural support to students.

"I would like to point out that ToU has been cooperating with the University of Applied Sciences of Anhalt for several years. This university is one of the best in Germany. We have signed an agreement that provides for student exchange and reciprocal faculty internships. Now, our goal is to establish a double degree program in several areas," said university rector Yerkin Sadykov.

Students and faculty also collaborate through the Erasmus+ and DAAD programs.

It is worth noting that during the official visit of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Toraighyrov University and the University of Applied Sciences of Anhalt intend to continue their cooperation in implementing double degree programs in the fields of engineering, energy, and others.
