A round on the topic “Training teachers and psychologists to work with students in the general secondary education to support their early professional self-determination: problems and prospects” table was held at ToU.

The meeting was held within the framework of the project AP14869606 “Psychological and pedagogical support for early professional self-determination of students in the system of basic secondary education”

During the discussion, the speakers noted that the result of professional self-determination of modern students should not be just the choice of a university and specialty, but a vision of further prospects for career development. It is important to review the training of teachers and psychologists so that they use innovative methods and technologies when counseling schoolchildren.

In addition, key problems and challenges to students’ early professional self-determination were identified.
