On behalf of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an operational headquarters was created in Pavlodar region on the issues of placing students in dormitories.  Led by the regional student ombudsman, they will conduct a tour and check the houses of students of higher educational institutions in our region.

Members of the Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan and the Council of Students under the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take part in the monitoring.

What criteria are used to allocate places in dormitories, what are the living conditions?  They will also check the readiness of private hostels to receive students in the new academic year, with whom universities conclude agreements in order to solve the problem with a shortage of places.

It should be noted that today a situational center and special headquarters for accommodating students in dormitories have been created and are functioning in all universities.  1st year students must first contact the university of their choice directly in order to obtain a place in dormitory.  Student must submit documents that comply with the algorithm provided on the social network by each university.  You can also contact the call centers of universities and get the necessary information.
