The republican scientific-practical conference "Features, problems and prospects of the trade union of enlightenment, science and higher education at the present stage" was held at Toraighyrov University.

 The moderator was Aigul Mukasheva, the chairwoman of the Kazakhstan Sectoral Trade Union of Enlightenment, Science and Higher Education Workers, who noted that Pavlodar region is in the forefront of the trade union movement, and many initiatives and innovations originate in our region.

 - Trade union organizations actively carry out work that exceeds the expectations of their activities.  At our university, we provide staff members with free advanced courses and organize wellness activities.  In addition, we have a polyclinic with a wide range of medical services, as well as a psychological help office.  Today we have opened a laboratory room jointly with the regional trade union, and I am sure that scientists of our university and members of the regional trade union will be able to study  the features, problems and prospects of the trade union in the educational sphere in more detail with its help, - said Yerkin Sadykov.

 During the event, the speakers dwelled in detail on the main directions of modernization and innovative forms of work of the sectoral trade union movement.

 In addition, a breakout session of the scientific and practical conference took place on this day, a panel discussion "Social partnership - synergy of interaction", "Trade union in line with changes: experience, proposals, solutions" and a foresight session "Corporate thinking strategy - innovative approaches and trends in  the work of the trade union.
