Republican debate tournament was held at Toraighyrov University.
48 teams from different regions of the country met at the event: Turkestan, Shymkent, Karaganda, Temirtau, Uralsk, Semey and Northern Kazakhstan.

- I am glad that debate clubs in Kazakhstan have become popular among young people.  Tournament participants fought in oratory and the ability to convince the audience.  It is these skills that are in trend today.  A young person who can clearly and easily express himself, giving reasons for his arguments, will always be a concerned citizen and member of society, protecting his interests, and, of course, will be needed in the open labor market, - said the rector of the university Yerkin Sadykov.

The winner of the first place on the youth platform, Ayana Mi, won a grant to study at the Higher College of Toraighyrov University.

 The main cup and the rector's grant of Toraighyrov University on the main platform was won by the team "El Basy".

 Farizat Alipbay was recognized as the best speaker.
