Acadmic and Methodological work

The contingent of students in the 2018-2019 academic year was 725 people (compared to the 2017-2018 academic year, the contingent increased by 10%), of which 520 full-time and part-time students, 200 Master’s degree students and 5 doctoral students. Student performance has not changed. Within the framework of academic mobility, 2 students and 1 Master’s degree student traveled  abroad (Latvia, Poland, Russia) and 2 students traveled in Kazakhstan (Taraz). Teaching materials for all specialties of the faculty have been completed and agreed with employers, educational programs for all specialties of the faculty have been completed, and modular programs have been updated. Master’s degree and doctoral students of the faculty underwent internships in leading universities of the near and far abroad, the plan is 100% fulfilled. Also a teacher of the Department of Biology and Ecology Akimbekova N.Zh. won a grant under the international program "TEMPUS + Teaching mobility" lecturing at the Palacký University (Czech Republic, Olomouc). In the current academic year, lectures by foreign professors were held: Jurgen Maineke (Bonn, Germany) from the Senior Expert Service (SES)

At the faculty, all the educational literature planned for the 2018-2019 academic year have been completed. During the academic year, the teaching staff prepared textbooks in accordance with the educational literature publication plan. Innovative educational programs related to the needs of the modern labor market have been developed and introduced into the educational process, active cooperation with the bases of practices has been carried out. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the faculty graduated 155 people. All students and Master’s degree students have successfully passed the Final state attestation.
