The laboratories of the Metallurgy department are equipped with universal and specialized technological equipment, 50 units in total, incl. 2 hydraulic presses for strength analysis, 2 induction furnaces for high-temperature smelting, grinding equipment (mill, crusher), laboratory for virtual study of metallurgical furnaces and electrolysis process in TEKRI electrolysis baths. For the solution of questions of methodical nature, office work the department is equipped with computer equipment.

The laboratories of the department include laboratories "Processing of secondary raw materials in metallurgy", "Structural analysis of materials", "Mechanical testing of materials", "Enrichment and ore preparation", "Foundry processes", "Physico-chemical studies in metallurgy", "Nonferrous metallurgy", "Workshop for the preparation of samples and materials".
