A meeting of the Inspiration book club devoted to the 135th birthday of one of the greatest poets of the Silver Age Anna Akhmatova took place in S. Beysembayev Scientific Library of S. Toraighyrov PSU.

Toraighyrov PSU hosted the ‘Aymauytov Readings’ national research and practical conference dedicated to the 125th birthday of a scientific and cultural luminary, writer, the founder of the novel genre in the Kazakh literature, playwright, and translator Zhusipbek Aymauytov. The event took place on September 19, 2014, at 11.00.

As a part of the Labor Day celebration program, students of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport had a meeting with Kabidolla Shakarimov, the Chairman of Zamandas (a club for veterans of the Pavlodar region), on September 17, 2014.

Active members of the Kyz Zhibek club of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University participated in the ‘Girls Are the Nation's Treasure’ teleconference along with other branches of the Club located in other universities of our Republic.

Students of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of S. Toraighyrov PSU took part and received diplomas in the IV International Festival of Architectural, Civil Engineering and Design Schools of Eurasia (Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan) and the National Competition of Graduation Projects (Almaty).

S. Toraighyrov PSU holds a ‘New Home for Books’ charity event on September 16-17, 2014.

Director of Yertis Science and Technology Park Serik Zhumazhanov and Director of the Regional Center of Innovation and Technology Transfer Sergey Smailov represented S. Toraighyrov PSU at the roundtable conference devoted to explanation of amendments and additions to the Administrative Offences Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding protection of intellectual property rights.

Candidate of Geographic Sciences, coordinator of projects performed by UNDP/GEF and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aleksandr Belyi (Astana) visited S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Famous scientists from Europe came to S. Toraighyrov PSU under the University Program for Inviting Foreign Lecturers. They give lectures to undergraduate and graduate students of our University.

A celebratory assembly dedicated to the International Day of Knowledge was held near the main entrance of the main academic building of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University on September 1, 2014. The event was attended by students, teachers, researchers and veteran pedagogues.

The enrollment ceremony for this year's freshmen entering Bachelor's and Master's degree programs at PSU was held on August 29, 2014.

An open discussion on “Ethno-Political Problems in the Former Soviet Union Countries in the Context of the Study of the Socio-Political Status of the Titular Ethnic Group of Independent Kazakhstan” took place in S. Toraighyrov PSU.
