Dear Colleagues!

In the framework of promoting advanced training of social workers in Pavlodar region S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University is planning to conduct a practical course “Supervision in social work. The technology of professional consulting for specialists of social service organizations”, amount 36 hours.

The purpose of training is to contribute to the formation and development of professionally significant and personal competencies of specialists necessary in the practice of a social worker.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

- give knowledge of the history of the development of practical social work;

- provide special social services in the new forms of social services;

- promote the development of communication skills, self-reflection;

- reduce the level of conflict;

- increase the level of stress tolerance;

- conduct individual consulting on the prevention of emotional burnout syndrome.

Learning Content:

1. The history of the development of social work.

2. New forms of social services.

3. The main directions of psychological support for social workers.

4. A brief overview of the lectures on the care of seriously ill, elderly people.

5. Recommendations to the social worker for the rehabilitation of disabled people.

6. Medical and social work with the elderly.

The training is conducted by: Antikeyeva Samal Kanatovna, Master of Science in the specialty “Social work”, PhD student, senior teacher of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Akimkhanova. Aliya Amangeldyevna, Master of Science in Psychology, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy.

The cost of the advanced training course is 6,885 tenge. At the end of the course, students will receive certificates of advanced training.
