The museum complex of Toraighyrov University is its important structural unit. He is the custodian of the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, and also gives an idea of the scientific, educational, cultural, educational and social aspects of the university’s activities from its founding to the present day. The Toraighyrov University museum complex develops and conducts overview and thematic lectures for different categories of visitors (students, schoolchildren of the city and region, university employees).

The museum complex includes 5 museums:
1) Museum of Kazakh ethnography;
2) museum of the history of technology;
3) archaeological museum;
4) PSU History Museum;
5) a museum dedicated to the work of the “Dos-mukasan” music group.
The Museum of the History of Technology presents unique exhibits reflecting the history of the development of radio, photo, video equipment, household electrical and computer equipment of the Soviet period, as well as models of domestic mechanical engineering.
The ethnographic museum represents to visitors a variety of products of the Kazakh national applied art. These are XVIII-XIX-th century jewels, ornament embroidered carpets from felt, house utensils, the national clothes, a full collection of the Kazakh national musical instruments made in a workshop of the university by the honoured worker of culture, the talented master of musical instruments N. Adylbekov.
Among the jewelry presented in the exhibition are antique bracelets, rings, bracelets, chest and temporal jewelry, amulets, clothing fasteners, buttons, brooches, a men's silver-encrusted belt and a saber (remake).
The exhibition of applied art includes a model of a Kazakh yurt with national decoration, Kazakh weapons (bes karu), ynyrshak, ashamai, made by applied craftsman Adilbekov N. The collection of felt products is replenished every year: tekemets, syrmaki, ayak kapy, etc.
In December 2002, an archaeological museum was opened, which bears the name of Alkey Khakanovich Margulan, a famous scientist, academician, archaeologist, ethnographer, and philologist. It is the fifth and largest museum in the PSU museum complex. Over the years, a lot of work has been done to formulate the exhibition material of the museum, which currently has 1,070 storage units of the main fund. A significant contribution to the founding of the museum was made by the Center for Archaeological Research named after. A. Margulan (Director, Candidate of historical Sciences V.K. Merts). The archaeological museum displays tools of the Paleolithic era: hand axes, knives, axes. The Chalcolithic and Bronze Age section presents examples of ceramics, bronze, gold and stone products. There are interesting examples of cultures of the Hunno-Sarmatian and Kimak periods, collections of grave goods, remains of weapons, belt and bridle sets of the Middle Ages. The museum's exposition is built on rich factual material obtained as a result of many years of archaeological research, clearly reflecting the consistent development of material culture in the territory of the Pavlodar Irtysh region since ancient times. The museum's exposition is constantly updated with new exhibits obtained during field research at the archaeological center and students' educational practice.

The PSU History Museum was opened on May 18, 2005. Its main objectives are to study and promote the history of the university, collect and exhibit museum materials related to the history of the university; instilling in staff and students high civic and moral qualities, respect and love for the university; formation of an active position in them in strengthening and further development of their native university, as well as popularization of the achievements of our university. The museum presents materials on the history of the university since its founding (1960). These are photographic materials, documents, student cards, grade books, diploma projects of the first graduates, materials telling about the development of the university to the present day, photographs of graduates, honorary deans and professors, war and labor veterans. Models of the main objects of the university are exhibited - buildings, dormitories, stadiums, and the Bayantau recreation center. The exhibition fund of the museum consists of over 500 storage units. A thematic excursion on the history of the university for teachers and students is a significant help for their educational and career guidance work.
The opening of the museum dedicated to the work of the “Dos-Mukasan” music group took place on September 28, 2008 and was timed to coincide with the annual III Republican festival “Dos Star” (Songs of the “Dos-Mukasan” music group). For the first time in Kazakhstan, a museum has been opened representing the history and creativity of the legendary ensemble, which began its concert activities in the Pavlodar region. The exhibition features more than 600 photographs reflecting the creative process of the ensemble, musical instruments and concert costumes of the participants. The main goal of opening the museum is to develop an active citizenship and sense of patriotism among students.
In the halls of Toraighyrov University museum complex, educational excursions, lectures and interesting meetings are constantly held for students of Pavlodar, students of lyceums and colleges of the city. Increasingly, our visitors are schoolchildren and guests from rural regions, Ekibastuz and Aksu. Visitors to the museum complex are foreign delegations, guests from near and far abroad.

The museum complex is a venue for classes on museum practice for cultural studies students, and students of natural sciences can consolidate theoretical knowledge in museums of the corresponding field.
