On May 29-30, 2019, an external expert committee visited S. Toraighyrov PSU in the framework of specialized accreditation of 26 educational programs at the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA).

2 commissions included 19 leading national and international experts from IQAA from Moscow (Russia), Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Karaganda, Pavlodar, and others, as well as representatives of employers and students.

The expert group on the first cluster of educational programs was headed by Kabikenov Sapar Zhomartovich - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Karaganda State Technical University, Head of the Department of Transport Engineering and Traffic Management.

The second expert group was headed by Atanov Sabyrzhan Kubeisinovich - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Computer Engineering Department of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

During the visit, the experts got acquainted with the infrastructure of the university, academic, research, educational and social work at S.Toraighyrov PSU.

The members of the commission attended the exams, conducted interviews with the main stakeholders of the educational process - faculty, employers, students and graduates of the university.

Also, experts visited the practice bases of accredited educational programs: “Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery” LLP, Pavlodar Regional Local History Museum named after Potanin, etc.

According to the results of the visit, an expert group will present an opinion, the results of which will be submitted to the Accreditation Council of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education for a decision on the accreditation of educational programs of the university.
