The delegation of the Foundation led by Deputy Executive Director Igor Rogov visited S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University within the framework of the event “Days of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy in Pavlodar Region”.

The event was attended young scientists and students, as well as award winners, winners of competitions and scholarship holders of the Foundation of the First President.

In her speech, Gaukhar Akhmetova, rector of the university, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, emphasized that since 2010, 32 teachers and students of the S.Toraighyrov PSU became winners of various competitions, award winners, and scholarship holders of the Foundation.

“The sphere of scientific interests of our young scientists extends from physics and finance, to construction and zootechnology. Scientists of Pavlodar State University studied the improvement of the production technologies of meat and dairy products, the mechanisms of the monetary policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, produced a prototype of a wind power installation, investigated the stability of soil structures under deformations, developed a series of electronic educational publications, etc.

It is obvious, that the respectable scientific and educational potential of the university should be used to break through in those areas that define a new technological era”, G. Akhmetova said.

Speaking about the work of the Foundation, Deputy Executive Director Igor Rogov noted that special attention is paid to the development of youth and various cultural trends. He also appealed young scientists and students for participation in the projects of the Foundation, showing their abilities in science and creativity.

“It is very pleasant that we started our trips to the regions in the year of youth from Pavlodar region. Your region is actively developing not only in terms of energy and economy, but also culture, art, science. There are a lot of talented young people. Proof of this is active participation in various projects and competitions of the Foundation. Many Pavlodar young talents became winners of our contests and scholarship holders of the Foundation”, I. Rogov emphasized.

During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Sukhrab Zhaparov elaborated on the annual competitions and events held by the Foundation.

Director of the Foundation for the Development of the State Language Azat Shaueyev spoke about the main directions of “Rukhani Zhangyru” program and the project of the switch of the Kazakh language to the Latin script.

The audience could directly address the guests and ask questions of interest.

The event continued at two venues where a seminar on the blockchain technology in Kazakhstan and a master class by Oksana Loskutova, a press secretary of the Foundation for PR professionals and journalists were held.

In addition, young scientists and startupers of PSU presented their research projects at the exhibition.
