A day of gratitude was held at S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University within the framework of the project “Lessons of ethnic history: Kazakh Halkyna Myn Algys (“A thousand thanks to the Kazakh people”)”.
The meeting was moderated by the coordinating council of the youth associations of the APK of Pavlodar region and the institute “Rukhani zhangyru” of Pavlodar State University.
Students, undergraduates and representatives of ethnocultural associations of the APK of the region were welcomed by the Acting Rector, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Nurlan Yerzhanov.
According to the organizers, interactive meetings with participants in historical events develop the moral, spiritual and historical values of the people of Kazakhstan, and the idea of Kazakhstan Thanksgiving Day is another step towards the education of respect for the history of their homeland.
During the meeting, the videos were presented to the guests telling how in difficult times of deportation, repression, and evacuation, the Kazakh people helped various ethnic groups to survive in the territory of Kazakhstan.
“The history of modern Kazakhstan is a history of victories and achievements. Under the shanyrak, they found their second homeland and found real brothers in the face of the Kazakhs, dozens of ethnic groups that appeared here for a variety of reasons. Our project “Lessons of ethnic history: Kazakh Halkyna Myn Algys” will provide an opportunity to study the history of each ethnic group: history, appearance, relations with Kazakhs, development and contribution to the formation of Independent Kazakhstan, which became an example of spiritual unity and harmony”, said Ramil Smailov, chairman of the coordinative council of the APK youth associations in Pavlodar region, Master’s degree student of the Department of History of Kazakhstan.
