Three teachers of S.Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University became winners in the competition for the title of “The Best University Teacher” in 2018.

481 applicants from 80 higher educational institutions of the country took part in the competition, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The annual competition is held in two stages. The first is the university stage, according to the results of which, by the decision of the academic council, the best teachers of the university are determined. Further, applicants participate in the national selection, competing with colleagues from all over Kazakhstan.

This year, the title “The Best University Teacher” won Kuralay Issayeva, Candidate of Technical Sciences, head of the Department of Biotechnology, Asylbek Kassenov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associate professor, deputy dean of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport for academic work and Nazira Ospanova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences; Professor of the Department of “Information Technologies”.

In addition to being awarded the title, the winners of the competition were awarded with a grant, which makes it possible to continue scientific research, as well as to have foreign internships at leading universities in the world.

This competition is aimed at the realization of creative potential and the expansion of international cooperation, and, also, provides an opportunity for advanced training and professional retraining of specialists in accordance with the requirements of international conventions in new areas of science.

Let us recall that the owners of the title “The best teacher of the university” in 2018 became 200 people from 43 universities.
