A methodological seminar “Entrepreneurial education in the student environment” was held at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan “New Development Opportunities in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” noted the need to involve people in productive employment, to open their own business and to master a new profession. In addition, he stressed that it is time to regard education as a separate branch of the economy with its investment projects and export potential.

As it was mentioned earlier, at present S. Toraighyrov PSU actively develops the strategy of creating an entrepreneurial university. The international Startup Academy is opened on the basis of the university, the purpose of which is to develop entrepreneurship and commercialization of projects, as well as a startup magistracy.

To date, 36 successful companies have been implemented in the Startup Academy, students are taking courses in entrepreneurship, leadership, creativity, etc.

During the seminar startuppers of Pavlodar State University presented their business models.

The projects of the children's school of languages and creativity, the production of construction materials from metallurgical enterprises waste and "PhotoHome", which is a free online service, where users can register on the website PhotoHome.kz, order photos and  print them monthly for free, attracted special interest.

Monetization of the project will be carried out by placing information on the back of photos, the site and applications from advertisers. The project has an advantage over its competitors due to its low price, a larger area for advertising, a long-term perspective and the value of an advertising medium.
