The work of a regional discussion platform for the implementation of historical research within the framework of the "Rukhani zhangyru" program completed at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Within the framework of the meeting, for the first time in the republic, a memorandum was signed between the akimat of Pavlodar region and the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Deputy akim of Pavlodar region Meiram Begentayev, director of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ziyabek Kabuldinov, deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Meruert Kazbekova, heads of directorates of Pavlodar region akimat, scientists - local lore specialist, members of regional project office, experts and others took part in the discussion

Also, an agreement was signed to open a branch of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanova of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the Department of History of Kazakhstan at S.Toraighyrov PSU.

During the discussion, the issues of preparation of the three-volume scientific edition "History of Pavlodar region" by the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov and Pavlodar scientists and historians were discussed.

The main topics for discussion were the issues of engaging the scientists  of Pavlodar region to historical research within the framework of the projects implemented by the Institute, the development of joint projects on grant financing of fundamental scientific research within the framework of the Rukhani zhangyru program.

According to the director of the Institute of History and Culture of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Historical Scciences, associate professor Kairat Battalov, the scientists of PSU submitted their projects to the republican register within the framework of the "Rukhani zhangyru" program. For example, the project for the reconstruction and museumification of the archaeological monument Sabyndykol-3, etc.

- It should be noted that at the moment the work on drawing of a map of the sacral geography of Pavlodar region has begun, which will include objects of the spiritual significance of antiquity and the Middle Ages (ancient sanctuaries, barrows, places of petroglyphs, etc.). Secondly - this is the place of life and graves of the famous khazrets, aulie. The third group will include objects that are associated with important historical events, the activities of public and political figures, for example the famous battleground of the Kazakhs and the Dzungars  “Kalmakkyrylgan”, Kairat Kanatovich said.
