S. Toraighyrov PSU became a location for on-site meeting of the commission in the direction "Development of high technologies" of the election programme of the"Nur Otan" party "Kazakhstan-2021: Unity. Stability. Creation."

During the visit, the commission members got acquainted with the research and production laboratories in the directions "Metallurgy" and "Petrochemistry", created within the framework of the State Program of the Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Program of the Infrastructure Development "Nurly Zhol" for 2015-2019.

In addition, the guests visited the International Startup Academy of the university, where they were able to learn about the projects implemented by burgeoning entrepreneur.

The work of the commission continued at a meeting, the main purpose of which was to review the progress of the SP IID-2 program execution at PSU for 2015 -2019.

The issue of the work of higher educational institutions of Pavlodar region in the implementation of the SP IID-2 program, including in the issues of cooperation with enterprises in the organization of the targeted training system, the development of educational programs, and the introduction of scientific results in the activities of enterprises was raised on the agenda.

Regarding the results of the commission, it was decided to transmit the positive experience of PSU and Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant to other universities and industrial enterprises.

The conduction of the commission on the base of PSU is reasoned by the fact that the university joined the ranks 11 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the implementation of the new economic policy of the state "Nurly Zhol" and the State Program of the Industrial Innovative Development for 2015-2019. Within its framework, the university acquired four new laboratories fitted with 63 types of equipment, developed a whole complex of educational programs and disciplines with the systemically important enterprises of the region and with such top foreign universities as Cambridge, Brunel, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and others. There are certain results during the implementation period.
