Once again, PSU students became winners of the republican Olympiads.

At the 9th Republican student subject Olympiad among students of the specialty "Computer Science and Software" the first place in the individual competition was taken by Kairulla Zhakupov. Kairulla best coped with writing programs in the programming language, as well as with a theoretical task.

Brilliantly coped with the olympiad tests future social workers Zhanna Baltasheva, Elena Weigandt and Anel Kabdrasheva, having won an honorable second place. The contestants proposed a project for the creation of an adaptive room called "The School for Preparing for Motherhood" - "Ana Bakhyty." "We owe our prize in many respects to our leaders Samal Kanatovna Antikeyeva and Gulnar Muratovna Kazhikenova. We are very pleased that we were part of the Olympiad educational movement. And our project really has a very important social significance", says the captain of the team

In the spring Olympiads, the Faculty of  Energy Engineering distinguished itself. Under the guidance of senior lecturer Askhat Berguzinov, silver at the subject Olympiad in Almaty were won by students of the specialty "Heat Power Engineering" Aliya Bayandinova and Nursultan Amirgali. Nursultan was also awarded the third place in the individual standings.

The team of "Electric power" Zarina Kusaeva, Vasily Tkachuk, Kuanysh Bayakhmet, led by senior lecturer Aigul Ashimova took the third place.

 The "metallurgists" of PSU Perizat Nagmetova, Dinara Yakhshibaeva, Ulzhan Aitmukhambetova, Alexei Artamonov, Viktor Kondratyuk took the second place at the republican subject Olympiad in Karaganda. In addition, Alexei Artamonov was awarded the third place in the individual competition.

The students of the specialty of transport equipment and logistics Azamat Nurumzhanov, Maksat Makhmet, Andrei Medvedev, Valery Esaulkov brought another victory for the Faculty of Metalurgy, machine-building and transport, having won the third place.

Students of the specialty "Vocational training" also took part in competition. Aliya Abdrasheva, Aset Rakhmetov, Asemgul Ashu, Aidyn Sarsenbai took the third place at the republican Olympiad, held at the South Kazakhstan State University named after M.A. Auezov.

In the personal competition our students also showed themselves very good. Zarina Sydykova took the third place in the specialty "Scenography". In addition, the student of the Faculty of Public administration, business and law, Kristina Tungusova, became the winner in the category "TOP-10" at the republican subject Olympiad in jurisprudence.
