Students of S. Toraighyrov PSU became prize-winners in a number of athletics competitions which were held in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

One of the winners became the first-year student, repeated medal winner of national championships and competitions, master of sports in athletics Kossolapov Denis. In the EKR student took the second place in the international competition for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova, as well as the third place in the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among the youth. Denis worthy performed in the 60 meters hurdle race.

In addition, the graduate student of Pavlodar State University, Asian champion, repeated medal winner of the competition, international master of sports Igor Kondratyev was the best in the mixed relay in International competitions for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova. Also it is worth noting that the athlete has won the third place in the 400-meters race.

Good results in the Republic Championship showed PSU student, repeated medal winner and winner of the championship of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, Candidate Master of Sports Viktor Ryabov. The athlete took two second places in the 200 and 400 meters race.

"I always took an interest in running. I remember that even in early childhood with my friends we organized yard competitions. Now, the daily trainings, loads give me the opportunity to participate at the championships and competitions of high level. Sport for me is comparable to a hobby, but it has become an important part of my life. Of course, tiring trainings are exhausting, but good results prove their significancy and give an impetus to new victories", - said Victor Ryabov.
