Students of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies won prizes places at the Republican subject Olympiad on specialties "Foreign languages".

The Olympiad center was Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.

In the Republican Subject Olympiad took part students from 21 universities of the country.

The selection of the winners on each specialty took place in three stages.

According to the results of the competition 4th year student Tamara Sushenitsa showed good results in solving tests, writing essays and presentation of the project work on the topic of linguoculturological differences in intercultural communication. Student spoke confidently and won second prize in the specialty "Foreign philology".

Meruert Issina won third place, showing skill in writing and oral consecutive interpretation of sounding text.

Also, a letter of gratitude on the specialty "Foreign language: two foreign languages" got Dana Zhusupova.
