Events, dedicated to the national holiday Nauryz were held at the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport.

On the improvised scene was musical and theatrical performance. Creative groups followed each other on the festive concert. The celebration was accompanied by performances of singers, masters of dance and folk art.

One of the guests of the event became a student from Nigeria - Noah Salako, who watched with great interest and supported for holiday participants. According to him, this festival for him is the first stage of immersion in the distinctive multinational culture of Kazakhstan.

Traditionally on the celebration of Nauryz the best students for excellent study and active participation in public life of university were awarded letters of thanks. 

During the event, the commission conducted a review of wall newspapers and national corner in the departments. 

In the design of the national corner the best became the Department of Mechanics and Oil and Gas Engineering. 

According to the results of the contest "The best wall newspaper" diploma of I degree and prizes won the Department of Transport Equipment and Logistics.

The culmination of the evening was the announcement of the main prize "Grand Prix" winners and the challenge cup of the dean. The winners of this award became the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Standardization, which also took first place in the presentation of traditions and customs of the peoples of Kazakhstan.

Congratulating the participants, Dean of the Faculty Professor Tyuleugazy Toktaganov noted that in our country Nauryz became a close and respected holiday for people of all nationalities living in Kazakhstan. "At our Faculty Nauryz is celebrated with a special scope. I think this event is making a significant contribution to the enrichment of the spiritual, cultural space of our multi-ethnic, multi-religious society.
