S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University held Doors Open Day, giving students considering entry to the University an opportunity to learn more about the faculties and programs. The event, which became the University’s tradition, gathered lots of potential students to help them make the right choice. Graduates of schools and colleges of Pavlodar expressed keen interest in the event.

Vice-Rector for Academic Work of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Gaukhar Akhmetova told future prospective students and their parents about the history, peculiarities of the educational activity and cultural and social life of the University. 

“PSU is one of five top universities of Kazakhstan. It is recognized as a top performer in many categories. Its students are given the opportunity to enroll at the reserve-officer training department and receive military training while earning an undergraduate degree,” said Gaukhar Galymovna.

S. Toraighyrov PSU is the only state university in Pavlodar region to offer dynamic programs for earning Bachelor, Master and Doctorate of Education degrees. The University is a member of the European University Association (the EUA). It honored with the European Quality award. The University’s trends are academic mobility programs, international cooperation, attraction of foreign lecturers, implementation of a dual education system, development of students’ business and leadership skills. 

Deans of all faculties of S. Toraighyrov PSU acquainted guests with the information on university entrance requirements, told about benefits of studying at the University and answered prospective students’ questions. Besides this, the video on programs offered by the University and its main trends was shown to schoolchildren and colleges’ graduates. 

Following the tradition, creative collectives of the student philharmonic of PSU arranged a concert for prospective students. Pavlodar Zhastar Kuramasy KVN team also gave a performance.
