Academic staff members and employees of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University visited Lund University (Sweden), which is a key partner university in terms of implementation of the State Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development for 2015-2019 (SPFIID-2).
Mayor of Lund Mr. Lennart Ride warmly welcomed the delegation of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.
Lund University is ranked as one of the top 100 in the world. It takes the 60th place in the QS World University Rankings. Lund University is the only Swedish university to be a member of the strong international networks LERU (the League of European Research Universities), which include Cambridge, Oxford, University College London, Leiden University, etc.
It should be noted that the academic staff members of Lund University chair their respective Nobel Committees.
The program of the PSU employees’ visit to Lund University included seminars organized by deans of faculties and directors of the university’s departments and transmission of experience by leading professors and experts of IDEON in terms of commercialization.
The visit was aimed at adopting experience of Swedish scholars in technical personnel training and implementation of educational programs and researches.

There is no doubt that such close cooperation in the sphere of high technology will give our employees and academic staff members an opportunity to gain unique knowledge and to strengthen the position of S. Toraighyrov PSU as a regional center of science,” said the director of the Registrar’s office, Candidate of Engineering Sciences Pyotr Bykov.
