On October 08, 2015 the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “The VII Toraighyrov Readings. The quality of life in Pavlodar region. The current state and perspectives” dedicated to the 55th anniversary of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University was held at the University.
“It is gratifying to note that the Toraighyrov Readings have considerably expanded both geographic and scientific boundaries, not having been wholly absorbed by the humanities. Today’s conference, without any doubts, is a nice platform for scholars of engineering, agrarian, social and economic sciences,” said the rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, Doctor of Political Sciences, Aryn Orsariyev, “the fact that so many talented scholars, researchers and inventors have been gathered under the auspices of the Toraighyrov Readings will undoubtedly help us to exchange experiences, to pick uncommon ideas, to find innovative solutions to problems of one or another kind in various spheres of science.”
One of honorary guests of the event was Joseph Tam, Professor of Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy (the USA), who told about planned cooperation between universities in the sphere of a dual-diploma system.
One of the issues that Abraham Altonayan, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of Brunel University (UK) addressed in his speech was the partner relationship under the Newton-Al-Farabi Partnership Program.
