On September 21, 2015 the administration of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State university together with “Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery” LLP signed the agreement of cooperation and establishment of the Department’s Affiliate.

The signing ceremony was performed by the rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University Aryn Orsariyev and the general director of “POCR” LLP Shukhrat Danbai.

The agreement provides for conduction of joint scientific research works, organization of internships for the Master’s students and other students of the University, professional development courses for both academic staff and the employees of the enterprise.

During the event the general director of “POCR” LLP Shukhrat Danbai conducted the lecture titled “The current condition and development perspectives of the oil-refining branch of the Republic of Kazakhstan” for the students of the Faculty of Chemistry Technology and Natural Sciences.

According to the rector of PSU Aryn Orsariyev, the realization of large-scale projects within the framework of the State Program on Forced Industrial-Innovative Development of the Country’s Economy forms the demand for specialists meeting modern day requirements.

“The mission of our mutually beneficial cooperation is to provide our region with highly skilled professionals. For this purpose, we are ready to bring education process closer to the real production process as much as possible”, says Aryn Amangeldinovich, “We intend to attract leading specialists of Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery to conduct classes, to manage term papers and graduate works. We are going to make changes in the catalogue of elective disciplines, work curricula according to the enterprise’s suggestions.

At the end of the meeting the general director of “POCR” LLP Shukhrat Danbai was given the rank of the Honorary Head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.
