S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University and the “Ertys” football club have concluded a Memorandum of Understanding.

The document was signed by the rector of PSU Aryn Orsariyev and the director of the “Ertys” football club Igor Yelaschuk, and also by key players Evandro Ronkato, Phernander Cassay, Carlos Phonseka, Alassane Ndiaye and Thomas Zhyrsak.

The agreement stipulates that the football players may study for a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as PhD at the University, it also provides for the strengthening of cooperation on the sportsmen’ studying Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages and conducting football master classes for the students of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University by the football players of the “Ertys” football club.

According to the rector of PSU Aryn Orsariyev the University is very interested in supporting the football players. “We have offered the sportsmen to become the students of our University. We, in our turn, would like the staff of PSU and its students to have access to games and root for the football club”, says Aryn Amangeldiyevich.

The director of the “Ertys” football club Igor Yelaschuk accentuates that this agreement is another step forward in sport development and opening up new possibilities for the students, who plan to play for the football club in future.

“We would like our football players to be not only the real professionals, but to be intelligent as well. Foreign players, who came here to stand up for the honour of our city, really want to know our history, culture and language”, says Igor Yevgenievich.

Students had a chance to ask questions to their idols. The meeting was held in an easy and environmentally friendly way.
