On September 1, 2015 a solemn event dedicated to International Knowledge Day was held in S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

This year about two thousand prospective students have entered S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Opening the solemn event, the rector of PSU, professor Aryn Orsariyev has congratulated all those present, and noted that the university is ranked as one of the top five universities of the country, and today’s students have a great opportunity to make a contribution to science together with outstanding scientists. «It is important to note that our university has concluded a number of memoranda on collaboration with the leading universities of Russia, Europe and U.S.A. Among them are the University of Brunel and Cambridge (Great Britain), the Moscow Institute of steel and alloys, the University of Columbia, and, of course, Silicon Valley Innovation Center. Such a close cooperation will let you realize your full potential and make your bravest ideas come true”, said Aryn Amangeldiyevich.

Also the president of JSC “Center for International Programs” Gani Nygmetov Saktaghanovich, the president of JSC “Aluminium of Kazakhstan” Arman Yessenzhulov, the director of social affairs of Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery Altyn Imantayeva gave the welcome for the solemn meeting.

Moreover, the International Programs Support Center has been opened in S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University. At the end of the solemn event, the president of JSC “Center for International Programs” Gani Nygmetov conducted informational briefings for teacher staff of PSU and its students and also for employees in such spheres as education, medicine and mass media of the region, where the main development priorities of the international Bolashak scholarship for 2016-2020, the preparation stages and opportunities for studying at the best universities of the world under the presidential scholarship program were discussed.
