The Center for Intensive Study of the Kazakh Language and Multilingual Education of S. Toraighyrov PSU holds English courses for employees of KSP Steel LLP.

The action plan for the implementation of the concept of the Kazakhstani identity and unity strengthening and development includes the idea of trilingualism introduction. A road map of trilingual education for 2015-2020 is currently being developed. Teaching English to adults working in the field of science, economy, industry, social sphere and public service has become a topical challenge.

The Center has already started working with employees of KSP Steel LLP. According to the workers, they need English to be able to implement new technologies. The best technological solutions are developed in other countries, especially in the USA, so English can become a bridge to new technologies in production.

The Dean of the Faculty of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering and Transport, Toleugazy Toktaganov, says that additional education for people working in the industry will contribute to the growth of industrial production in our region.

“These language courses at PSU also serve as a good example of successful cooperation between universities and industrial companies,” he said.

Taking into account the existing situation in the region, the decision has been made to increase the number of grants for Master's degree programs in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, and Technological Machines and Equipment.

S. Toraighyrov PSU has created all necessary conditions for successful learning. There are fully-equipped laboratories, research and practical centers, the Yertis Science and Technology Park. PSU students have practical training at leading companies of the region. Master's degree students have internships at the best higher education institutions of the world. Then knowledge acquired abroad is then used in practice.

As of today, holders of Master's degrees from PSU work all over the Republic making their contribution to the country's prosperity.
