The Unified National Testing has been launched in Kazakhstan. This year it is held from June 2 to 8.
According to the results of Day 1, school-leavers who took the test at PSU had the average score of 79.7. 40 of them scored more than 110 points. Zhansaya Raimova from the regional Kazakh-Turkish lyceum for girls scored 124 points. There were no violations of rules; however, over 20 cell phones were taken away from candidates at the entrance.
Over 3,000 school-leavers are taking the UNT in our region this year, and 563 of them have already taken this test at S. Toraighyrov PSU.
All conditions necessary for the proper conduct of the examination were created at the testing point located at PSU.
The UNT participants were provided with drinking water and chocolate bars produced in Kazakhstan.
Composting toilets were available all over the University campus. Ambulances and fire brigades were on duty. All 11 classrooms where school-leavers took the test were equipped with air-conditioners. Representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science were monitoring the whole process. There were walkthrough metal detectors, 16 cameras, and 9 signal suppressors preventing candidates from using their mobile phones. A live broadcast from all classrooms was organized for candidates' parents right in the adjacent building. A group of engineers had thoroughly checked the building for explosives in advance. The level of radiation from signal suppressors conformed to the standards set by the sanitary and epidemiological authorities.
The State Appeals Review Board and the Board of Appeal were established in each testing point throughout the Republic to ensure compliance with the common requirements, resolve contentious issues in the evaluation of tests, and protect the rights of the UNT participants.
