A meeting of Aryn Orsariyev, Rector of S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University, and students from Kazakhstan currently studying abroad took place in the head office of KazAlliance Association in London.
Owing to this meeting, members of KazAlliance Association learned more about S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University and its activities and established cooperation with the University in the field of research and education.
Aryn Orsariyev held a presentation of the University, told about its achievements, and shared plans for the future. Participants of the meeting discussed some problems relating to the implementation of joint educational programs, organization of internships, and inviting famous professors and lecturers to give public lectures.
Participants of the meeting also discussed prospects of joint activities. In particular, KazAlliance offered to finance studies at a foreign university for two best students of PSU. In his turn, Aryn Orsariyev confirmed the readiness to provide employment assistance to members of KazAlliance under the State Program for Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development. As a result of these agreements, the parties signed a memorandum on long-term cooperation.
According to Aryn Orsariyev, besides reaching some important agreements and signing of the memorandum, that meeting was also a great opportunity to establish cooperation and get some fresh ideas for further development of the University. “Now I can confidently say that I will be able to learn about the latest trends in British education directly from students who study there,” he said.
KazAlliance reaffirmed its readiness to fully support PSU's efforts in the introduction of innovative teaching methods, recognition of diplomas and expanding the number of partner institutions.
According to Rashid Ayupov, President of KazAlliance Association, the meeting should help accelerate the integration of Pavlodar State University into the global education system. The cooperation between KazAlliance and PSU will help the University in its development.
